As part of our summer festival on Sunday, 24.08. at 14:45 we will be showing six short films from the DEFA studio for animated films and the Animation school Fantasia Dresden e.V.

Mausi and Kilo go on vacation, Christian Biermann, GDR 1986, cartoon, 8 min.
Mausi the cat and Kilo the dog live in constant friendship and enmity. When camping, they cheer each other's misadventures, for example when the tent collapses. But when non-swimmer Mausi almost drowns, Kilo rescues her.

A "uniquely white" cat is no longer recognizable as such after falling down the chimney. When she struts across the farm anyway and announces how pretty and noble she looks, she causes confusion and quarrels among the farm animals.
